At Mar Recruitment, a consultancy specialized in maritime, offshore, and energy sectors, we are currently looking for a Shorebase Manager to join a major Oil & Gas project in Tarragona.

Role Description

The Shorebae Manager is responsible for the overall contractual, commercial, and performance management of the Shorebase & Logistics Services Contract. This role ensures full compliance with contractual obligations, KPIs, cost control, and alignment with Client’s operational, HSE, and regulatory requirements throughout both Active and Non-Active periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contractual interface with Client
  
• Ensure full compliance with the Scope of Work, amendments, and service orders.
  
• Monitor performance against agreed KPIs (logistics, transport, warehousing, quayside operations).
  
• Manage variations, claims, invoicing validation, and cost control.
  
• Coordinate internally with Operations, HSE, Customs, and Security leads.
  
• Support audits, inspections, and performance reviews by Client and authorities.
  

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or similar.
  
• Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas logistics contracts or port-based operations.
  
• Strong knowledge of offshore logistics, shorebase operations, and marine support services.
  
• Proven experience managing complex service contracts and KPIs.
  
• High level of English proficiency (written and spoken).
  
• Strong negotiation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
