At Mar Recruitment, a consultancy specialized in maritime, offshore, and energy sectors, we are currently looking for a HSE Supervisor to join a major Oil & Gas project in Tarragona.

Role Description

The HSE Supervisor ensures that all shorebase, quayside, transport, and warehouse operations are conducted in full compliance with Client HSE standards, Spanish regulations, and international offshore best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce HSE procedures for shorebase, yard, warehouse, and quayside activities.
  
• Supervise lifting, hoisting, and cargo handling operations.
  
• Conduct toolbox talks, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and safety briefings.
  
• Monitor compliance with waste management, chemical storage, and spill prevention requirements.
  
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformities; issue corrective actions.
  
• Liaise with authorities and support audits and inspections.
  

Requirements

• Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
  
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas logistics or port operations.
  
• Strong knowledge of lifting & hoisting, hazardous materials, and waste management.
  
• Certified in first aid, spill response, dangerous goods handling.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  
• Fluent English; Spanish required.
