Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for a Steel Structural Carpenter for an offshore project located in  Cairo, Egypt.

Mission:

▪ Ensure the performance of structural steel fabrication and erection following Foreman instructions and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Tasks:

▪ Perform structural steel fabrication and erection activities in accordance with safety and quality requirements ▪ Follow daily instructions given by Foreman ▪ Ensure structural steel fabrication and erection is carried out accor ding to approved fabrication, erection and assembly drawings ▪ Verify the equipment, tools and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and report any anomalies to Foreman ▪ Ensure coordination with the adjacent works to minimize coactivities and avoid unsafe conditions ▪ Follow the permit-to-work statement ▪ Ensure the housekeeping of the work location.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in Offshore or Shipyard work area;
  
• Must hold the welding 6GR valid certificate;
  
• Welding process SMAW, GTAW, FCAW for carbon steel and stainless steel;
  
• The candidate job is not limited to the welding activity, but should be able to fabricate steel frames and piping arrangement, so should be able to cut, bevel and fit-up steel sections like beams and hollow sections.
