Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for a Environmental Coordinator for a project located in China.

Mission:

- Co-ordinate the implementation of the Environmental Management Plans at site during project execution phases according to the Company Environmental guidelines and standards.
- Ensure the management of Environmental issues for the site / field.
- Promote environmental initiatives at  site and project level.

Tasks:

- Ensure the implementation of the Environmental Management System at site in compliance with Contractor and Company requirements.
- Ensure, together with the relevant technical Functions, the implementation of Company strategies for GHGs/Climate change and energy management at site.
- Manage the relevant environmental permits and monitor application.
- Develop Specific Environmental Plans/Procedures (i.e. Waste/Chemical/Water Management Plan, etc.), and monitor implementation;
- Ensure protection of sensitive areas;
- Develop spill prevention and response plan, monitor its implementation and ensure the implementation of the environmental emergency exercises/drills program.
- Ensuring compliance with noise and air quality requirements.
- Establishing an environmental monitoring and audit program applicable to all phases of operations.
- Take part in incident investigation;Oversee construction activities on a regular basis through inspections/walkthroughs/audits.
- Support Construction Manager/Site Manger in pollution prevention issues and collaborate with him to ensure fulfilment of all requirements.
- Monitor SUBCONTRACTOR’s Site activities and their compliance with Project EMS.
- Organize environmental training sessions and deliver trainings to Site workforce.
- Ensure collection and management of lessons learned and identification of opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare reports and statistics of the site environmental performance.

Requirements

- Must speak fluent Mandarin (all nationalities accepted).

- Must have more than 5 years experience working on Fabrication Yards both offshore and onshore projects.

Start date:	The contract starts on the Employee’s designated date of departure to Work location
Duration:	Minimum 1 year (extendable yearly)
Rotation:	120/16
Salary:	Monthly salary paid also while on leave
Overtime rate:	Already included in monthly salary.
Working days/hours:	10 hours a day, 6 days a week
Living allowance:	10,625.10 CNY, pro rata as per presence
Accommodation:	Accommodation with full boarding provided by the company.

Travel :	According to Corporate Standards, Business class ticket at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation (class varies) cycle.
