Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for candidates for the position of Offshore Logistic Manager for their  onshore project in Mozambique.

Role Description

Mission

Management of all logistic activities related to the transportation of material and modules to project site or fabrication yard, including the management of any intermediate consolidation/marshalling yard. Management of project maritime port facilities in line with Country maritime regulations and of logistic activities related to the supply of water, food and fuel to project site. Ensure all activities are planned and executed in line with QHSE and sustainability procedures and practices.

Tasks:

Development of cost-effective logistic strategies for complex projects both in commercial and execution phase. Assessment of intermediate consolidation / marshalling areas and lay down areas. Management of all logistic activities from consolidation/

marshalling area to construction site (barges/ supply vessels/ load out/ lashing and securing);

• assessment of best solution to transport all materials and supplies to site including aggregate material and material for early work activities (civil works, camp preparation, food, water, fuel supply, etc.);

• development of feasibility studies for the transport/logistics of modules (PAU/PAR) in both remote and industrialized areas;

• assessment of port capacities for incoming / outgoing cargos and development of vessel arrival and mooring sequences considering existing available infrastructures (MOF, berths, water depths, mooring facilities) and assessing development of new infrastructures considering project cargo profile and project construction plan;

• management of port facilities and definition of requirements for tugs and barges;

• development of logistic surveys and studies including surveys in remote areas with identification of maximum weight and volume profiles that can be transported;

• development of fully integrated logistics cost estimates;

• management of export compliace, shipping and customs clearance process in different countries;

• Preparation of technical enquiry packages and bid technical evaluations for transportation tenders;

• Definition of strategies and special infrastructures for personnel transportation;

• Coordination with material management team.

• Ensure compliance with technical and qualitative requirements defined during the design phase and to be in line with project plans and business strategies;

• Management of resources including marine team.
