Dutch company specialized in the execution of electrical systems for large vessels, yachts and super yachts, needs to incorporate an Electrical Technician (Yachts Electrical Systems) (Yachts Electrical Systems) in Palma de Mallorca.

Job objective:

Installing, connecting and maintaining electrically various systems on board superyachts. Normally the installation will be following the electrical drawings. You will be working with the team but also independently. The work can be time sensitive therefore overtime must be expected.

Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic knowledge will be of help to develop your duties.  

It will be appreciated flexibility to travel and work abroad. Driving license is a must.

Tasks :

This list of tasks is an indication and not restrictive; the job objective is leading:

•                Installation of cabling following a cable running document

•                Connection of cabling following electrical schematics

•                Capability to read and understand electrical schematics

•                Making insulation tests on electrical equipment

•                Earthing electrical systems

•                Reporting on the executed tasks

•                Maintaining material stock

•                Maintaining tidiness service cars and workshop

Requirements

Knowledge

Technical electrical education on 3-phase industrial electrical installations and at least 2 years of experience as electrician.

Independence

Depending on the experience able to work autonomously on the project, discussing the service process on board with the client and reporting.

Social skills

Customer-friendly attitude, able and willing to work independently, sense of responsibility, collaboration and consultation, result-oriented, problem-solving skills, analysing problems.

Expression skills

Good oral and written level of English.

Inconvenient circumstances

Occasionally you’ll have to work on energized installations, confined spaces or carry out works on heights (masts).
