Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for a Fabrication Methods Engineer, for an Onshore Project located in UAE.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assigned to a modularized onshore project in Abu Dhabi / UAE, you are in charge to define the modules onshore transportation and installation sequence. You define modules onshore transportation configuration using SPMT, prepare the heavy haul roads layout and suggest plot plan modification which could ease module installation.

You liaise with civil engineering team to assist the structural analysis of the modules and prepare the basis of design for the verification of the ground capacity and underground networks all along the Heavy Haulage roads.

Modules being delivered to the installation site by cargo barges, you are responsible for the basic design of grillage and sea-fastening.

You lead a team of draftsmen to prepare the required project drawings.

PROFILE:

Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, with 10 years’ experience, involving site experience on modular projects. Proven experience in transportation engineering (knowledge of SPMT trailers, stability verification, lashing design and verification of transportation supports). Knowledge of load-out/in operations (including ballasting and mooring engineering) is a plus.

Duration:	Minimum 1 year (extendable yearly)
Rotation:	As per standard (120/16)
Salary:	Monthly salary paid also while on leave
Overtime rate:	Already included in monthly salary.
Working days/hours:	9 hours a day, 5 days a week
