Company from Oil & Gas Industry is looking for candidates for the position Vessel Software Lead for their Heavy Lift Pipelay Vessel, currently located in China

MISSION:

▪ Coordinate and manage automation system on board the conventional and DP vessel, where experience and high level on automation knowledge is necessary

▪ Be the responsible of electrical and electronic correct operation/maintenance ensuring the respect of HSE company procedures

TASKS:

▪ Supervise and monitor, with full autonomy, all automation system related to the pipe/flex lay equipment, pipe handling, lifting appliances and the rest of the system connected to the production side

▪ Monitor and control supervising on-board electrical/electronic equipment according with safety procedures

▪ Define maintenance work setting priorities and proposing maintenance schedule

▪ Propose to the Chief Engineer and Chief Electrician the required quantity of material stock levels, in order to maintain work continuity

▪ Supervise the carrying out of work activities in compliance to safety procedures and practices

▪ Ensure the efficiency of the electrical/electronic equipments

▪ Coordinate the electrical team for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance

Requirements

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens plc, in programming and troubleshooting.
  
• Capability to follow and perform the commissioning on production machines for pipelay.
  

• Knowledge of IBA system and complex architecture for logging system

Location:	Worldwide (currently in China)
Contract status:	Valid until 30.06.2023 (done for administrative purposes and can be extended)
Start date:	ASAP
Rotation:	35 working days /35 rest days
Salary:	TBC
Overtime rate:	Applicable
Working days/hours:	12 hours per day, 7 days per week
Insurance D&D:	Provided by Company

Income Protection:	Provided by Company
Travel :	According to Corporate Standards, Prepaid Economy class ticket at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation cycle.
