Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for a NR10 Qualified Engineer for a onshore project located in China.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

As part of the Interface management team, ensure full compliance with all applicable NR 10 regulatory requirements. To do inspection of pipes, pressure vessels and SPIE equipment based on NR-10. To act as a Qualified Professional (PH) in the project on Chinese Yard. To issue technical recommendations based on inspection reports. To review supplier´s proposals for the supply of NR-10. To ensure that inspection records are conclusive according to the criteria established in the procedure created, in accordance with NR10 Brazilian legislation. To follow-up and witness inspections at topside module fabrication premises. To participate to the edition of full “NR-10 dossier” to be delivered at the end of the project.

KEY CHALLENGES:

Working at Construction Site Working in a multi-cultural environment across multiple Countries and Locations Identifying all applicable NR10 requirements. Ensuring that responsible Project Team members meet their compliance obligations. Coordination of the Regulation Compliance Sub-contractors

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

COMPETENCIES: I.          Functional Well versed with NR 10 standard requirements Understanding of legislation relevant to petroleum activities. Understanding of contractual requirements and business development needs. Knowledge and experience with NR10 compliance processes in the Brazilian oil and gas industry, including obtaining approvals. Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with Regulators and senior managers.   II.         Leadership Entrepreneurship Inspirational Leadership Building Relationship Commercially Astute Decision Maker Good Communicator

Requirements

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in the execution of major offshore oil & gas, specifically following NR10 aspect of major projects. Managed at least two (2) projects involving major topsides fabrication and minimum one (1) FPSO project.   QUALIFICATION: Minimum Master’s Degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline.
