Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for candidates for the position of Supply Chain Manager for an offshore project located
in Papua and Jakarta .
Mission:
▪ Ensure that Supply Chain (procurement and post-order) activities are
planned, executed, and managed so that goods and services
are procured and made available in accordance with Company Procedure and
Business requirement
▪ Maximise the efficiency of the Procurement and Post order process in
accordance with Business objective and needs
▪ Create added value through enrichment of Vendor Lists in line with
Vendor Management process and Code of Ethics
Tasks:
▪ Promote the diffusion of policies, standards, guidelines and work
instructions within the Procurement and Post Order function
▪ Coordinate and Lead a team performing purchasing, expediting,
inspection, and transportation activities in accordance with Project
and Company requirements.
▪ Ensure the coordination of relevant functions within the operating
companies and guarantee control of activities from receiving
of material/service requisition to delivery to final destination through bid,
contract, material progress status, shipping,
customs clearance to ensure compliance with Company standard and procedures.
▪ Ensure professional staff development training plan and guaranteeing the
availability of qualified competences suitable for the
business needs
▪ Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics and the relevant Internal
Control System
▪ Contribute to risk assessment and implementation of relevant mitigation
action related to procurement and post order activities
▪ Ensure management of Saipem procurement and post order processes related
to materials, services and subcontracts in order
to satisfy project, asset and business needs, according to the defined
strategies and optimising costs and delivery requirements
▪ With regards to procurement and post order activities, ensure support in
commercial phase for estimation of workload and resources
in terms of availability and competences
▪ Guarantee assistance to commercial function in definition of preliminary
agreements with vendors and elaboration and availability
of elements needed for the definition of competitive estimates during bidding
phase
▪ Guarantee assistance in management of subcontractors and provide
necessary contribution for management of LD as per contractual
clauses
▪ Ensure the contribution to evaluation, qualification and performance of
vendor according to Vendor management procedure
▪ Overview the availability of the procurement and post order resources
and the optimization of their allocation
▪ Ensure continuous improvement of procurement and post order tools in
order to optimize the relevant process
▪ Ensure timely and correct reporting of procurement and post order
activities to appointed function, for the purpose of calculation of key performance indicators and
satisfaction of compliance with Company Policy and Internal Control System
