Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for an Engineering Watch Rating for their offshore platform located in Angola.

Mission
Contribute to a safe engineering watch in a manned engine-room or designated to perform duties in a periodically unmanned engine-room. Perform the marine engineering function at support level as indicated in regulation III/4 and/or III/5. Execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities and/or qualifications. Maintain safe working practices

Tasks

• Report to Engineer on watch, execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities
  
• Assist with engine room operations and watch keeping
  
• Carry out maintenance as directed by own STCW regulation
  
  

Qualifications

• STCW required certificates, National CoP Reg. III/4 (seniority Junior/Expert)
  
• STCW required certificates, National CoP Reg. III/5 (seniority Senior)
  
• Completion of all training and certifications
  

Experience: minimum 2 years to cover Expert (L2) position

Requirements

·         Experience on a drilling ship.

·         Minimum 3 years of experience.

·         International experience in Angola, Africa, Brazil is a plus

Contract start:	ASAP
Contract duration:	6 months – renewable
Work/leave cycle:	35 working days (work period) followed by 35 leave days (leave period)   Any eventual Quarantine Period in the country of work is included in the Leave Period.
Working hours:	12h x 7 days a week
Salary:	TBC (Quarantine Rate: 50% of daily rate per each day onshore spent in the country of work)
