Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for candidates for the position of Maintenance Scheduler  for their  various projects in Angola. 

Role Description

Specific Tasks:

​

·       Manage work orders, from the moment they are handed over from the planner until they are scheduled for execution, and oversee the work until completion

·       Walk down jobs and develop scope of work

·       Provide all necessary manuals, drawings, or other information to execute jobs

·       Develop and maintain backlog of ready work orders for technicians

·       Develop weekly schedules of maintenance work documenting the jobs on the schedules

·       Ensures that the daily and weekly maintenance schedules are communicated and distributed to the department team members involved in the work

·       Generates a daily and weekly work schedule

·       Chair weekly planning meeting and drive planning process including weekly and monthly lookaheads

·       Provide weekly summary of back log to each coordinator weekly

Requirements

-Candidates who  are more experienced with TAR – Turnaround specialist and P6 primavera software experience.

-Diploma/Degree in  Engineering.

-A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Maintenance scheduling in oil/gas sector

 

• Expert knowledge of CMMS Software applications (SAP/Maximo )
  
• Primvera P6 literate
  
• High Degree of Computer literacy (Excel)
  
• Fluent English(written/spoken)
  

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  
• Responsibility, attentiveness, diligence, accuracy in reporting
  
• Ability to independently set goals and achieve targets
