Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for a Welding Quality Control Inspector for their vessels located in The Netherlands, Poland and Denmark.
Role Description
▪ In accordance with the Quality Control Plans, execute the specific inspections on materials, equipment and
construction/installation activities on site issuing the relevant Quality Records.▪ Verify welding parameters and consumables during operations.
▪ Be aware of welding procedures and qualification.
▪ Check welders qualifications.
▪ Check the availability and suitability of the welding equipment consumables, pre-heating, welding, heat treatment, bevels,
the extent of the repairs made by the various welders (taking any corrective action required), the heat treatment record
diagrams.
▪ Ensure that all welding, heat treatment and any hardness testing are in compliance with the relevant codes and
specifications.
▪ Perform pipes line up check, ensuring that all installed pipe/fittings are compliant to the correct specification and that the
material is in accordance with the specified material traceability requirements.
▪ Carry out visual inspections and issues relevant reports.
▪ Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying tests, controls and inspections documents, ensuring that all
welding and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As Built dossier.
▪ In case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test
Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant
out internal Quality and HSE system auditing activities in order to promote the respect and compliance by all Company
personnel with Document System and to ensure all necessary activities for the familiarization of all Health and Safety
equipment provided.
▪ Ensure that qualified Quality and HSE resources are allocated to various duties within the departments or the projects.
▪ Take part in accident / incident investigation and carry out analysis of accidents and incidents performance, identifying
trends and suggesting improvement plans.
▪Guarantee support to Top Management to manage potential HSE emergency and Local Crisis Unit (LCU).
▪ Ensure the identification and implementation of the most suitable training and communications initiatives aimed at
disseminating Quality and HSE culture as well as improving awareness and performance on significant issues, working to
with the relevant Corporate Functions and the Human Resources, Organisation and Services Function.
▪ Ensure the collection and the analysis of QHSE data relevant to the assigned projects and proper reporting activities to
Corporate functions.
▪ Define the Sustainability policy strategies and guidelines according to Top Management and supported by all Saipem
functions.
▪ Ensure the implementation of initiatives for the local communities within the Company's activities according to peculiarities
of local context, as well as the involvement of interested parties, with particular reference to customers and local communities.
▪ Ensure compliance with local applicable legislation to identify and assess the Company's HSE risks, guarantee the planning
of prevention and protection measures and the definition and implementation of integrated HSE plans (i.e. annual HSE plan,
HSE audit plan, etc).
Requirements
- B1/B2 English level
- Minimum 3 years of offshore pipeline experience
- CSWIP 3.1 or IWI Standard Level

70 paid working days / 35 unpaid leave days
Working hours:
7 days a week / 12 hours a day
Salary:
TBC
Quarantine:
50% of the daily salary per each quarantine day - If done in the work location or if requested by the Company
Insurances:
Death & Disability, Life, Medical insurance, Income Protection in case of work incapacity originated on site according to contractual clause
Flights:
Prepaid Economy class ticket at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation cycle
