Oil & Gas Company is looking for 2 Vessel HSE Engineers  for their Pipe Layer Vessels, located in China / UAE & Qatar.

Role Description

Mission
▪ Provide necessary support to ensure the correct development, management and improvement of the Vessel HSE
Management System throughout all the phases of the vessel operations
Tasks
▪ Provide professional support to ensure that all activities carried out on-board Saipem Vessels (including Offshore Rigs) are
conducted in strict accordance with Saipem HSE Standards, applicable local legislation, International Standards (ISO14001
and OSHAS18001), Client HSE Requirements
▪ Provide specialist advise to Vessel Management Team and crew in general for interpretation and implementation of the
applicable HSE Procedures.
▪ Liaise with HSE or QHSE Divisions functions, operating companies and project team in order to ensure compliance with
standards and procedures on board of vessel
▪ Support the Vessel Management Team and the crew in the HSE Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis
▪ Assist the Vessel Management Teams in the Risk Management process (i.e. implementation of Risk Control Measures)
▪ Deliver HSE training
▪ Take part in Accident / Incident investigation
▪ Coordinate the activities of the HSE Officers on board of vessel
▪ Ensure the correct reporting of Vessel HSE data and monitoring of corrective actions

Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years experience on offshore construction vessels for pipelines, installations, etc.
  • Mandatory NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
  • Fluent English

Position:

Contract start:

February 2021 for DeHe / March 2021 for Endeavour

Contract duration:

30.06.2021 subject to yearly extension

Work/leave rotation:

1/1 - Currently 56 days of work followed by 56 unpaid leave days (extended due to COVID) - possibly to change back to 35/35 in the future

Working hours:

7 days a week / 12 hours a day

Salary:

Salary to be confirmed 

Insurances:

Death & Disability, Life, Medical insurance, Income Protection in case of work incapacity originated on site according to contractual clause

Flights:

Prepaid Economy class ticket at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation cycle
