Gas Company is looking for an Inspector Coordinator for a project based in Angola.
JOB
PURPOSE
Reporting to the Maintenance
Specialist Discilpline Leader, this is a key role in
delivery of plant maintenance. The Maintenance Specialists are a team of
centralised resource to be deployed to deliver asset maintenance work.
Specialist roles will be arranged by technical skill discipline.
The role purpose is to:
- Lead and
co-ordinate the planning of inspection activity.
- Support inspection
planners with activity readiness for complex inspection activity and
interface with supporting teams as required to manage interfaces and
interdependencies.
- Provide execution
support to offshore inspection teams
The role may require a number of offshore visits each year.
Working within the Fabric Maintenace
and Integrity Management Squad, the Maintenance Specialist (Inspection) is
accountable for ensuring coordination, planning, execution and closeout of medium
to high copmplexity inspections.
Key behaviours required will include
strong leadership, being a motivated self-starter, and with ability to
influence, strong networking skills and teamwork within bp and support
contractors & vendors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work Management Compliance and Performing HSE
& Integrity:
1. Demonstrate personal leadership
and exemplary safety behaviours at all times,
2. Deliver full compliance with the Life
Saving Rules and Site Safety Standards,
3. Liaise and agree activity Statement of
Requirements with the engineering team(s) and issue vendors with defined
statements of requirements,
4. Continually strive for compliance
with practices and procedures contained within BPs Operating Management System
(OMS)
a. Ensure that quality work packs
are supplied for planned maintenance work and has applicable System Handover
Management (SHM) certification prepared prior to execution,
b. Ensure alignment and integration
between maintenance execution planning and CoW planning,
c. Ensure any changes to plant,
equipment or organisation are subject to the appropriate level of Management of
Change before putting into service.
5. Review the Inspection activity plan & schedule and
provide input to TAR Planning and Scheduling Process,
6. Plan activities in compliance with the Work Readiness
Assurance Gate Criteria and attend Activity Integration and Scheduling meetings
to provide assurances on gate compliance (8Q/12W/6W/2W)
7. Complete Deep Dive Sessions along with key internal and
external stakeholders to provide assurance on job readiness,
- Execute inspection
work scopes ensuring vendors are fully aligned with expectations of
quality and performance,
9. Monitor and support offshore execution, leading internal and
external stakeholders to ensure successful completion of the work scopes,
10. Lead After Action Reviews including
key internal and external stakeholders, as necessary,
11. Assist, when requested, Inspection Planners in
obtaining information to build routine task job-plans
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS &
SKILLS
1. Significant
practical maintenance/inspection experience
2. Experience in maintenance & activity
planning
3. Experience in managing multi-vendor scopes of
work
4. Excellent
interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work in a multi-discipline
team and ability to develop strong working relationships with Contractor(s).
5. Has
knowledge of/and demonstrated project management skills
6. Proven
maintenance management system (CMMS) skills and Work Management knowledge – SAP
PM experience preferable
7. Experience of Offshore or On Site working
environment preferred
8. Competent
in reading technical drawings
9. A working
knowledge of tools used for data analysis.
