Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for  a Learning & Development coordinator for their  project located in Doha, Qatar.

 

Tasks:

Contractor shall develop a  Technical Training program in accordance with the guidelines shown below for COMPANY APROVAL, supported by a training coordinator  and assigned mentors. For the Qatari National Enginners the training program shall compliment th individual´s National Development Plan.

For the avoidance of doubt, the training duration shall continue until the end of the EPC Contract.

Contractor shall plan to train as many as eight Company National Engineers on an ongoing basis for the duration of the project. Company may elect to rotate  or change the company National Engineers to allow for other oppotunities for different Company national engineers while the maximum number of trainees at any one time shall not exceed eight. 

Training Part 1 - EPC Office 

Contractor shall assign a learning and development coordinator, supported by a lead engineer, as contractor´s focal point concerning the training of company national engineers. The focal point shall provide and be responsible for the following:

a- Preparation and submission of training programs for company review and approval.

b- Coordination of all training activities and matters.

c- Keeping a track of training progress for all company national engineers.

d- Ensuring that all training progress assesment reports are submitted on timely manner.

e- Liaison with company representative or his delegate in all matters regarding of company national engineers.

f- Contractor shall assing a Senior Engineer as a mentor for each company national engineer in accordance to their specific engineering discipline during the entire Engineering/procurement phase.

g- The mentors shall be responsible for the following:

2.2 Training Part 2 - Construction Phase:

Contractor shall provide On-the- Job-training  for eight (8) company National Engineers form start of construction phase until completion of performance test.

Contractor shall provide all services and facilities  to company national engineers as per specification of those for company. The services provided to company national engineers shall be in addition to those listed elsewhere for company.

Contractor shall assign a learning and development coordinator lead engineer  as contractor´s focal point concerning the training of company national engineers. The focal point shall provide and be responsible for the following:

1-Preparation and submission of training programs for company review and approval.

2-Coordiation of all activities and matters.

3- Keeping a track of training progress for all company national engineers.

4- Ensuring that training porgress assessment reports are submitted on timely manner.

5- Liaison with company representative or his delegate in all matters regarding the training  of company national engineers.
