Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for  a  for their on shore projeclocated in Italy.

Tasks:

 Support to the engineering team to implement Process Safety requirements in compliance with Company and International standards, local    legislation, etc.

ü   Provide advice and guidance for the implementation in project deliverables of the appropriate risk mitigation measures required for   operational and technical integrity.

Participation in Safety Reviews such as HAZID, BOW-TIE, HAZOP, LOPA (including support to action close-out);

 Developing ALARP demonstrations to manage the risks of Major Hazard Accidents and support HSE Cases preparation.

 Assurance checks for process safety requirements 

Identification of Safety Critical Elements and Functional requirements/design assurance criteria for developing Performance Standards.

Rotation:

120 consecutive calendar days on site followed by 16 paid calendar days of leave (“Leave Days”). The Leave Days are inclusive of travelling time in, from and to the country of domicile.

5 days a week at 8 hours a day

Full Board/Living allowance:

For the first few months a hotel with full boarding will be provided.  No living allowance will be given.  Once the employee has moved into an apartment a living allowance of 1,160 Euro will be paid per month or pro-rata thereof (not paid when on vacation)

Requirements

·    

ü  Higher degree in engineering discipline, preferably Chemical Engineering.

ü  Minimum of 15+ years Oil and Gas business experience, with direct involvement in Natural Gas Liquefaction facilities design in EPC projects, preferably large scale/base load.

ü  Deep technical competences in the following areas

Ø Technical Safety / Loss prevention Fundamentals

Ø Risk Management

Ø Functional Safety (TUV or Exida certification is an advantage)

Ø Asset Integrity (Safety and Operational critical Elements and Performance Standard)

Ø Active and passive fire protection systems

Ø Process containment systems

Ø Emergency response

Ø Implementation, Monitoring, Reviews, and Assurance

Ø Hazards specific to LNG and relevant protection system: LNG spillage, cold splash, RPT, BLEVE

ü  Strong process engineering background

ü  Experience in Design Basis

ü  Experience with flare and relief systems design including PSVs and emergency isolation and depressuring systems

ü  Deep technical understanding of hazard identification, consequence modelling and risk assessment.

ü  Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and advancements.

ü  Experience in using major IOC Standards (preferably SHELL and TOTAL) and approach to safety activities in EPC project development

ü  Experience with participating in formal HAZOPs

ü  Knowledge of studies to determine Hot Air Recirculation and RAM of the facility

ü  Clear leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to lead work groups and study teams for (process) safety reviews and embed Process Safety culture within working teams.

ü  Effective communication, presentation and writing skill.

ü  Good relational and negotiation skills

ü  English language proficient

ü  Availability to relocate in Milan
