Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for a Electrician to join their offshore project in The Netherlands.
Role Description
▪ Ensure the performance of electrical works activities following Foreman instructions and in accordance with safety and
quality standards.
Tasks
▪▪ Perform the electrical works in accordance with safety and quality requirements
▪ Perform electrical or electronic wiring connections for equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, cabinets and any other
electrical apparatus
▪ Ensure the works are carried out according to project drawings
▪ Verify the equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and report any anomalies to Foreman
▪ Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices such as
ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system
▪ Ensure coordination with the adjacent works to minimize coactivities and eliminate unsafe conditions
▪ Follow the permit-to-work statement
▪ Ensure the housekeeping of the work location
▪ Properly maintain electrical systems, switchboards, related electrical equipment, SCR control system, EO System and all
electrical instrumentation, including high/low voltage and DC System and all the equipment relative at the onshore fleet in
accordance with Maintenance Electr Section Lead or Workshop Foreman (only for onshore activities).

Requirements
1. Have
school background from a Technical Institute
2. Solid
Mechanical and/or Electrical knowledge
3. Have
experience of at least 5 years as 2nd Engineer / Electrical Engineer
4. Good
knowledge of Microsoft Office
5. Be
responsible for the maintenance of Barge’s equipment and upkeep:
- Machinery
- Towing Gear and related items
- Mooring Equipment (Winches, Bollards, Mooring
Lines)
- Ballast System
- Minor repairs and preservation (chipping,
painting, welding, etc.)
6. Manage
& Request Spare Parts and other Barge consumables
7. Provide
assistance and reporting to management team
8. Responsible
to carry out all ballasting operations as well as all the other barge
equipment’s
9. Manage
Mooring Crews and assist on all Tug operations
10. Act
as owner’s representative on site and during tow, looking after the Barge’s
security and all her assets
11. Report
to the Maintenance Team and Project Team
12. Have
experience as a Seaman and knowledge of Maritime rules and regulations
13. Good
spoken and written English
14. Be an
independent worker, capable of managing his workload with minimum supervision
& minimum to no assistance
15. Fluent English.
